Summary

Collective Assembly is an independent multi-disciplinary design studio for public benefit, the arts, non-commercial, and commercial alike.

We support the ongoing bottom-up revolution of makers, craftsmen, and open source hardware, software, and ideas.

Our time is split carefully between products as services for organizations with a good purpose, and products in their own right, the latter being our tiny but constant contributions to the aforementioned movement.

Approach

We practice Total Design, which we define as the systematic process that integrates physical and digital design disciplines —resulting in a shared language of reconfigurable building blocks to produce innovative products, services, and experiences.
